This past week I flew to San Francisco with my family! Every year we like to take a vacation somewhere we haven’t been before, and this year we all decided it would be fun to visit San Fran! I didn’t realize how windy and cold it was, and ended up having to wear my one pair of leggings everyday haha. On the first day we took a city bus tour, and a boat ride to the golden gate bridge and around the famous Alcatraz Island. After a long, but fun day we went to the Boudin Restaurant for dinner. The next day we ventured to Stanford University, and I picked up a new (much needed) sweatshirt. It was much much warmer in the area, and I didn’t really want to go back to the cold city! On our last full day we decided to go to Berkeley. It was quite the adventure figuring out the “BART.” Once we got back from the college we embarked on a bus ride to the Muir Woods! We got to see some on the tallest trees in the world. It was so beautiful and serene. Seeing the famous Redwood trees is something I will never forget. On the last day we decided to check out Union Square, and I did some damage shopping… oops! The last must stop destination was Sears Fine Food. I saw on Pinterest they had world famous Swedish Pancakes! After our delicious meal we were off to the airport. I had an amazing trip to San Fran, and was amazed by the beautiful Victorian homes, and the beauty of the Golden Gate bridge…even when most of it was constantly covered with fog!
